IPC using Custom Event Handling

Create Portal WAR and Portal EAR project with First Port let and second port let. In the first port let user will enter user name and the enter name should be displayed at the second portlet.

The folder structure and the file structure should be the same as shown in the below snap

Select the first port let and add event handler as shown below.

For the same portlet add Action method as shown below:

Select the second port let   and handler method as below:

Add Action as below for backing file :

Add action as Page Flow Action  method as below:

Now create the .portal file and add first and second port let and run the .portal the below screen will appears:
